I am giving away a free photo session and prints to a well deserving individual or family. I really want to help them have their memories captured in a unique way. The session will take place as seen fit for them, depending on their situation. You are welcome to forward this on to anyone that you feel would have someone to nominate. If you would like to nominate someone or a family, here is what you need to do...

1. First, you need to become a fan of Karen Fisher Photography on Facebook.

2. Second, you can email your nomination to me at: kfphotography@verizon.net

The email must contain the contact info for you as well as the person you are nominating. It must also contain a short description as to why you think this person deserves a free session.

The deadline to send in your nominations is Friday, Feb. 26th.

The session must take place in the Ft. Wayne area.

I will pick the winning entry, along with my family. I will notify the winner after March 1st. You can contact me with any questions.

Ok, they weren't triplets, but I had 3 newborns in one week. Who can resist the chance to take pictures of 3 little ones in one week? They all were great sleepers and they just curled up so nice. The Tyler wedding

Well, I finally shot my first full wedding. I have shot several ceremonies and I second shot with Matt Hall, but this one was all my own. I drug my husband around with me, but he ended up being a huge help to me. He got some great shots for being a rookie! We had a lot of fun at the wedding. We were under strict orders from the bride and groom to just have fun. They didn't want a lot of formal pictures, just them having fun. Well, I think we accomplished that. We had a great time, and as you can see, so did they. The cake was the best part. This is just a sneak peek of what is to come.

I have moved!!

Well, I have made the move out towards Huntertown. It has been a crazy few weeks around my place, trying to pack and now unpack. I have plans to update my website with some amazing new pictures, but that is going to have to wait until I have most of my house unpacked.

I have a new phone number now too. If you call the old one, it will give you the new one as well. It is 260-637-9465. My email address has stayed the same.

I had a great time photographing this adorable family. Those 3 boys had awesome eyes. I love eyes. At 6 mos. 2 and 4, I had my hands full. They did wonderfully, as you can see. What a gorgeous family!

This is the 3rd or 4th time I have take Little "C"'s pictures. We have such a good time every time we get together. I love my repeat clients. I also love getting to watch them grow. What photo session wouldn't be complete without some water fun at the end! He even got me wet.

Boy did I have a great time with these girls from Florida. We started out with just overcast skies, but then the rain came. Good thing I had matching paper parisols for them to use. Aren't those great! These girls were a dream to work with, and so beautiful!!! This is a surprise for their dad, so I hope he likes them!

Wow, 2 posts in one day. Amazing!! Little "A" is just finishing up her baby plan with me. She was such a joy to take pictures of. She was so happy on a recent Sunday morning. I just love 1 year old's. Don't you just love the pink pettiskirt. I think it was bigger than she was!

Big Girl "M" struts her stuff

I had such a great time with big girl "M". These pictures are a surprise for her dad for Father's Day. She loved getting dressed up in her fancy dress. We even ended up jumping on the bed with it too. We stepped outside to get a few there as well. I enjoy working with all ages of kids, but it sure is nice when they stay put. It makes my job so much easier.

This little girl was so much fun to work with. She was on the go, especially since she was 2. That is such a tough age to work with. They tend to have a mind of their own. But, we made it happen. It is amazing what a little dandelion will do! I think she ate as much as she blew off.

Little "E"

Here is Little "E". He is on my baby plan and this is his 9 month shoot. It is just so amazing to watch these little ones grow up so quickly. It is awesome to see the changes that have happened since I took their last pictures. I am going to miss seeing these babies grow up. "E" was having a great time crawling all over the place. It was hard to keep him in one spot. None the less, I was able to get a few of him when he decided to stop (which was briefly). Gotta love a happy baby!

Ok, I have decided I need to blog all of my sessions as part of my workflow. You need to see what I am up to, and that means me blogging more. So, here it goes. Here is little "B". He is on my baby plan, so I see he quite often. He was not really digging being outside that day. We were at a beautiful property though. We were trying everything to get him to smile, but it was a no go. But, as I always say, you don't need a smile to have an amazing photograph. So, here he is!

My other new nephew

I told you that I had 2 new nephew's within 4 weeks of each other. Here is the 2nd little guy, Aidan Patrick. He has a daddy that is a firefighter, and a mommy that is a police officer. He is going to guy up to be a tough little guy.

Well, I guess I can't say that I have only 1 new nephew because I just had another nephew born on Saturday. This little guy was born about 4 weeks ago and had to spend 17 days in the NICU, so I couldn't get my hands on him for a little while. I just love how squishy he is. I will have my other new nephew on her in a few weeks.

Who knew that turning one could be so much fun. This little guy smiled the whole time. I don't think we got a picture that didn't have a smile on his face. We had such a great time chasing him around. Who can resist a kid with their blankie? I can't!! Enjoy!

I swear this little guy could be in magazines. He has that pale skin and blonde hair with a little bit of curl. Check out those green boots. Pretty snazzy! Yes, I just said snazzy! The one thing I hate about the Botanical Conservatory is that they have hoses out all of the time. I have had so much fun taking pictures of these little ones. They keep me fresh.

Here is little D. Here sure was a little spit fire. When I walked in the house, he fell off of the couch and hit his head. What a way to start off a session. It was a challenge, as all kids this age are, but I think we did quite well. He is just so stinkin' cute! Even though I picked out some serious ones, he was all smiles when mom was playing with him.

These little boys have been with me for 9 months. They are all in my baby plan, and my how they have grown. 2 of them are cousins and they were all born pretty close together. I can't wait to see what happens when they turn 1!!! So, here are baby S, baby S and baby W. Aren't they so cute?

Well, it is that time of year again. I have released my new price list. If you go to my website, under the info section and then pricing, you will find the new prices. For those of you who have already had their session, your prices will still be the old pricing structure. You are welcome to email me if you have any questions regarding the new pricing. I am hoping to start being able to offer credit cards as an option for payment this year as well. I might have special offers to come, so keep checking back with my blog. I hope to update my blog to a new and better blog this year as well. So many changes are coming!

I finally have some time off!!

As most of you know, I am a full time nursing student. I am finally off for a 3 week break. I am so happy to have some free time to myself. I will be updating my website with new pictures. Keep an eye out for your little one. I am trying to keep my blog updated as well. So, to start it all off, here is little baby "A". She is on my baby plan, so these are her 6 month pictures. I love to see these little ones grow. Check out her eyes.

I finally have my Christmas card templates available for you. If you had your pictures taken this year, why not have them made into a Christmas card. Just let me know which pictures you would like, and I can put it together.

The password to see the cards is: cards

The cards are one-sided, 5x7 with envelopes. Minimum order of 25 and then they are sold in increments of 5 after that. $1.60 each

If you would like to just have 4x6 prints of an individual photo, then you can order those with a minimum of 25. $1.40 each.

This family was so much fun. We went to Salomon Farms, but we had some nice and shady areas. We played in the field quite a bit. The girls were having so much fun. I just love it when they have expressions like these.

My father-in-law is having a major surgery on Friday morning. He has esophageal and stomach cancer, and he is having the surgery to remove parts of both. It is a big deal, so we hope he comes out of it being healthier. Please just say an extra prayer for him. I will try my best to keep up with everything, but there are no guarantees.

I found out that I have won the Best of Fort Wayne contest from the Fort Wayne Newspapers. I was nominated by one of my lovely clients for best Photographer. Of course, you all pulled through and I have won. I just wanted to thank everyone for their support and of course for voting. I am so honored to know that you guys all voted for me. My newest purchase has been these awesome pettiskirts. Little girls love to wear them. I have them in 4 different sizes and colors. You will be seeing many more of these to come. They just love to twirl in them and boy does the personalities come out! She was ready to give them a twirl.

I haven't blogged in forever and now I am adding 3 new posts. Yikes. I am so far behind in proofing it isn't even funny. I have 14 sessions waiting to be proofed and that doesn't include the many that I have coming up. Busy season is upon us! Here are a few from a recent session of a brother and sister. I just love gorgeous eyes, and these kids have them. Wow!

It isn't too often that you get to capture such a fun expression. These 2 girls were having so much fun blowing bubbles, that I got lucky to capture the littlest one with this expression. Aren't these girls gorgeous? Those eyes were amazing.

Here is a sneak peek of baby Arianna. Can't you tell how much in love her parents are with her. She was such a smiley and happy baby. We had a lot of fun getting her to smile. It helped that grandma was in the background making her laugh.

Everyday moments

It is amazing how you forget to document those everyday moments. My kids are 4 and 6, so they rarely nap. I guess going to the zoo-loo-au and jumping in the inflatables wore them out. I just love seeing my kids sleep. I guess it is because they look so sweet, but I know that they are little devils inside! Anyways, I just couldn't resist these shots of them. The last shot is from a few weeks ago. I was playing with the sun behind my daughter. I can't wait to try more with a better background. Enjoy!
